
The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will be back from the 2nd -5th October 2025. Alfred Dunhill is the the longest running European Tour sponsor, and is the only professional championship to be played annually over the historic Old Course at St Andrews, alongside the Championship Course at Carnoustie and Kingsbarns Golf Links. Tyrrell Hatton the reigning 2024 champion will be back to defend his title. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship has a unique and enduring appeal for golfers and golf fans alike.
The Dunhill Links Championship format incorporates two separate competitions, a DP World Tour Professional Tournament and a Team Championship with each pro paired with an amateur. For the professionals, there is a prize fund of US$5 million and valuable European Tour and World Ranking points at stake.
The 2025 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will be played across three of Scotland’s (and the world’s) best links courses; the Old Course St Andrews, the Championship Course Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns Golf Links. Play is over the three courses for the first three days with the final round being played on Sunday 5th October over the Old Course, St Andrews.
Champion Tyrrell Hatton will be back to defend his Alfred Dunhill Links title but will face stiff competition from many of the world’s top golf professionals.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will run from 2nd – 5th October 2025. Tickets are free for the first three days ; Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets for the final day of the championship Sunday 5th October at the Old Course need to be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be available to purchase on the gate.
